Measurabl Earns 2021 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year, Ranks #1 in Certifications

Measurabl, the most widely adopted ESG data management solution for commercial real estate, is proud to announce it has received the 2021 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award as well as the Sustained Excellence Award.

“We are honored to receive the US EPA’s ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for the third consecutive year,” said Matt Ellis, Measurabl’s Founder and CEO. “ENERGY STAR is North America’s pioneering and most effective commercial building energy and carbon efficiency program, so offering tools that have demonstrably supported and expanded its adoption is very satisfying and something we will continue to heavily invest into.”

The ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award recognizes partner businesses and organizations that demonstrate superior leadership, innovation, and commitment to environmental protection through energy efficiency. Measurabl was also rated #1 in helping clients achieve the most ENERGY STAR certifications out of all listed providers. Measurabl was also ranked in the top five for benchmarking through ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.

The Sustained Excellence award is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program. Winners are part of a distinguished group that has made a long-term commitment to fighting climate change and protecting public health through energy efficiency.

“ENERGY STAR award-winning partners are showing the world that delivering real climate solutions makes good business sense and promotes job growth,” said EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan. “Many of them have been doing it for years, inspiring all of us who are committed to tackling the climate crisis and leading the way to a clean energy economy.”

In the past year alone, Measurabl helped more than 15,000 buildings benchmark energy, water, and waste performance—a 25% increase from the prior year and a total of 6,000 new buildings benchmarked since 2018. As part of its customer onboarding process, Measurabl encourages users to sync their buildings with ENERGY STAR or use our automated utility data collection feature, which utilizes ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. By offering clients tools to track their progress, Measurabl supports mutual goals with ENERGY STAR to empower building owners and managers to reduce consumption of natural resources and create a more sustainable built environment.

In addition to its partnership with ENERGY STAR, Measurabl continuously adds new features to further support our users to collect, analyze, and report ESG data. Recently, Measurabl launched Cohort Insights, a powerful analytics tool that allows users to instantly compare the performance of their buildings to that of their peers. Measurabl’s platform also offers access to curated consulting, energy, and regulatory services designed to help customers manage and elevate ESG performance, including ENERGY STAR Certification and Benchmarking Ordinance submission for all eligible buildings.
