Jessica ElengicalHead of ESG Strategy, Alternatives, DWS Group

Jessica is the global head of ESG Strategy for the Alternatives business at DWS where she leads the ESG integration efforts for the real assets businesses. Within Real Estate, Jessica manages the implementation of global sustainability initiatives, including investment in energy efficiency, renewables, and green technology as well as developing long-term energy reduction plans for the platform. Jessica joined the Company in 2015 with over a decade of energy, sustainability, and finance experience. Prior to joining the Company, she led the origination, development, and financing of commercial and utility-scale solar and wind projects for a number of renewable energy start-up companies. She also held roles in commodities structuring and structured finance at Barclays Capital, JPMorgan Chase, and Standard & Poor’s. 

Matt Ellis,CEO, Measurabl

Matt is Founder and CEO of Measurabl, a software company that makes it possible for any company to collect, report and act upon sustainability data, powering the global market in non-financial information. Before Measurabl Matt spent five years with CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services company, where he began his career as a real estate broker. Matt went on to lead CBRE’s Sustainability Practice Group in the Western US, implement its industry-first global carbon neutrality program, and serve as the company’s first Director of Sustainability Solutions and youngest member of its Global Sustainability Steering Committee. 

Matt has expertise in sustainability reporting, corporate sustainability strategy, institutional and corporate real estate, carbon accounting, and green building. He is an Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow and New Leaders Council Fellow.
