ENERGY STAR®: The Complete Guide

Once you’ve authenticated with ENERGY STAR®, follow the steps below to complete the connection and enable syncing meters, scores, certification statuses, and other crucial data.

Link with energy star

  1. Navigate to the Data page in your Measurabl account.
  2. Click on Link with ENERGY STAR®.
  3. Enter ENERGY STAR® credentials.


Add Measurabl as a Contact

  1. Login to your ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager account.
  2. Select Contacts from the top-right.
  3. Click Add Contact.
  4. Search for “Measurabl Measurabl” (no, that’s not a typo) in the Name box.
  5. Click the Connect button to the right of Measurabl Measurabl.
  6. Agree to Terms and Conditions. Click Send Connection Request. Your request will be automatically accepted within a couple of hours, and you’ll be ready to start sharing your sites to Measurabl.


Share Your Sites with Measurabl

  1. Login to your ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager account.
  2. Select Share with Others from the dropdown menu next to your site’s name.
  3. Choose the sites you want to share.
    • Not seeing all your sites? Sites must be shared by the Property Data Administrator with Full Access and Share Forward privileges to your ENERGY STAR® account to be shared to Measurabl.
  4. Select Measurabl Measurabl as the contact (no, that’s not a typo).
  5. Check the Personalized Sharing & Exchange Data option, then click the Continue button.
  6. Check the Exchange Data option.
  7. Select Full Access for each item. Do not Share Forward.
  8. Click Apply Selections & Authorize Exchange.
  9. Click the Share Property button.
  10. After a few minutes, a notification will appear confirming that Measurabl has accepted your share. The next time you refresh your ENERGY STAR® account in Measurabl, the shared site’s meters, score, and certification status will sync.
